The
Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County has invited a spectrum
of innovative musicians and composers to create music inspired
by their collections.
Each
composition was commissioned expressly for one of the galleries
on the Museum's Level 1. This is what the Arkestra say about their
own composition: "We were in Mexico for 3 months, playing
all around and inspired by being there. But we get the vibration
of wherever we're at. We created this piece right here in this
room. So, the feeling of Los Angeles and the people and the place
are all a part of it."

After
returning from the Uncool Festival at Poschiavo, Switzerland,
the band has been scheduled in NYC during the Summerstage at Central
Park.
